GET ALONG TO THE SKILLS CAMP

POPULAR RUGBY LEAGUE SCHEME FOR YOUNGSTERS RETURNS THIS SUMMER

The action-packed Rugby League Skills Camps, brought to you by North Wales Crusaders and Wales Rugby League, return to North Wales this summer.

For just £30 per child, per course, it's an opportunity not to be missed for any budding young rugby league players out there.

All sessions run from 9am to 4pm and take place on July 29th and 30th at Deeside Leisure Centre, Flintshire, while camps will be held at Queensway Sports Stadium, Wrexham on July 31st, and August 1st, 21st and 22nd.

And as well as taking part in enjoyable sessions by qualified and experienced coaches, North Wales Crusaders are also chucking in a free ticket, along with discount on additional children and parents' tickets, to their next home fixture.

North Wales Crusaders Chief Executive Jamie Thomas said: "We're pleased to be involved in hosting Skills Camps once again this year.

"It's great that the kids have something to do and can play a bit of rugby league in the summer. They've been a success in the past so hopefully they'll be the same again this year."

Matt Pritchard, Development Officer for North Wales, said: "There is so much rugby league activity going on in North Wales. Previous skill camps have gone really well in the past and we are really pleased to be delivering these, together with North Wales Crusaders, once again."

Anyone wishing to get involved should either complete a form and return to Matt Pritchard, Wales Rugby League, Deeside Leisure Centre, Chester Road West, Deeside, CH5 1SA, or email matt.pritchard@walesrugbyleague.co.uk

Please note that children must be aged between 9 and 14 and should bring a packed lunch, trainers, boots, warm clothing and a jacket so that they can get muddy.
