South Wales Scorpions, in association with Wales Rugby League, will be hosting their third annual junior Super Sunday tournament this Sunday.

The festival will consist of teams from all around South Wales at under 13, 14 and 15 levels. The preliminary rounds will be played at Bonymaen RFC from 10am before the action moves to The Gnoll for the three finals that will be played around the big Co-operative Championship 1 game between South Wales Scorpions and Rochdale Hornets which kicks off at 3pm.

The under 14 Final will take place at 1.50pm, the under 13 Final will take place in an extended half-time interval in the South Wales Scorpions game at 3.40pm while the under 15 Final will take place straight after the final hooter of the Scorpions match.

Wales Rugby League's National Development Manager, Mark Jones, said: "We're delighted to be working with South Wales Scorpions once again for the annual junior Super Sunday.

"We had an excellent event at Caerphilly last year (pictured) after having almost 900 people watching the tournament the year before. We look forward to more competitive matches this Sunday as junior Rugby League continues to grow here in South Wales.

"We'd like to thank Bonymaen RFC for agreeing to host the group matches and of course, the Scorpions and The Gnoll for hosting the three final matches."

Admission is free to the preliminary rounds at Bonymaen while at The Gnoll, all parents of competing sides will get in for the day for just £5, a reduction from the normal £12 for adults for the day.
