Coach Development Programme Launched

New programme kicks off in March with a session led by national coach

March will see the first of a number of coach development workshops delivered by Wales Rugby League and this brand new programme will kick off with a session led by the national team head coach Iestyn Harris on Wednesday 6th March at the University of Glamorgan playing fields in Treforest. 


Coach development is key to the growth of the game in Wales and the new programme aims to provide caoches the opportunity to access formal development opportunities accros a range of subjects. Workshops will be held throughout the year and will be open to all coaches either working in the game or are looking to get involved in rugby league coaching.


Wales head coach Iestyn Harris will kick off the programme which will include some theory and practical elements. Any interested coaches need to register their attendance as soon as possible as demand is expected to be high. The session will be limited to the first 40 coaches to register.
