FOUR SET FOR WALES U-18 RETURN
COACH EATON WANTS CONSISTENCY IN THE PERFORMANCE AGAINST ENGLAND ON SATURDAY
By Gary Baker
WALES coach Barry Eaton will have four returning players available for selection this weekend as the national Under-18s side take on England in the second of their Autumn Internationals.
The teenagers turned in a blistering second-half performance against Scotland last Saturday to turn a 22-6 half-time deficit into a 46-28 victory at Queensway Sports Stadium, Wrexham.
But after England named their squad on Wednesday, Eaton said the Welsh party will be told who is in or out on Friday.
However, TJ Collin and Rhys Anderson (both Newport), Jordan Howells (Monmouth) and Jack McKenzie (Cardiff) are all back in the mix for the England match.
And Eaton admitted Wales need to tighten up in certain areas before they kick-off at Leigh Miners on Saturday at 2.30pm.
He said: "It was pleasing that we played well in the second-half against Scotland last weekend but I would have prefered to have had two good halves of the match.
"England will be some challenge for us and we need to care of what we can within our own game. I am looking for improvements around the ruck and defensively.
"If we can do that, regardless of what threats England will have, we can challenge them. I am looking for a more consistent performance."
