WELSH ACE JOINS BRADFORD

BEN EVANS GOES TO BULLS ON LOAN FROM WARRINGTON

WELSH international Ben Evans will be joining fellow national cap Elliot Kear at Bradford Bulls after signing a one-year loan with the Yorkshire club.

Prop Evans, 20, played for Wales in the senior Autumn Test matches against France and England during October.

He joins Bradford from Warrington Wolves where he has not figured in the Super League first team yet.

Evans said on the Warrington website: "I am really looking forward to it. It should be a good move for and I will get some game time. I met up with Francis Cummins last week and I was impressed with his ideas for the club.

"I also spoke to Matty Blythe and he is really pleased for me and we will be travelling over together."

Evans will remain a Warrington Wolves player with a contract already in place for the 2014 season.

His progress has been good within the Warrington under 20s set-up and he played a part in their age group competition where they won this year's Valvoline Cup Grand Final win alongside his brother Rhys, who has switched to England.
