SUPER LEAGUE STARS TO FACE WALES

ENGLAND COACH MCNAMARA PICKS 28-MAN SQUAD FOR AUTUMN TESTS

ENGLAND coach Steve McNamara has kept faith with the majority of his 28-man squad for next month's Autumn Test triangular series which includes a match against Wales in Wrexham on October 27.

The big names of Super League could come up against coach Iestyn Harris' Welsh side including stars like Wigan's Sam Tomkins and Sean O'Loughlin plus Leeds Rhinos aces Ryan Hall, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Kevin Sinfield along with Warrington players Gareth Carvell, Ryan Atkins and Ben Westwood, to name a few.

McNamara is giving the tournament full commitment in his choice of top players as it comes just a year before they open the World Cup with an 'Ashes' Test against Australia at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

And the England coach warned Wales: "With the Rugby League World Cup just over 12 months away, our planning and preparation will step up over the year ahead to make sure we are competitive and ready to make a huge impact on the tournament."
