OPEN DAYS FOR U13 PLAYERS

With two regional centres opening in South Wales in September 2012 Wales Rugby League will be holding two open days to identify future stars of the game to become a part of an exciting project for the game in Wales.

Focusing on the U13 age group Wales Rugby League are looking for players to become a part of the player pathway that will hopefully lead to full international honours in the future. Following on from the open days players will be invited to join a regional squad that will develop their ability in Rugby League and also give them an opportunity to play in competitive games against other centres in Wales.

The open days give young people the opportunity to experience Rugby League who may never have had that chance before and also get some expert coaching from professional staff within the game in Wales. They will consist of some technical and tactical development whilst also enjoying some small sided games.

The information for each open day is as follows:

West Wales - Wednesday 15th August, 10:00am - 3:00pm @ Dyffryn Taf School, Whitland

East Wales - Thursday 16th August, 10:00am - 3:00pm @ Caerphilly RFC
