New media manager for Wales sought

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Wales Rugby League leading up to the 2013 World Cup and beyond. Wales Rugby League is looking for expressions of interest for a new Media Manager and Administrator.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Wales Rugby League leading up to the 2013 World Cup and beyond.

 

Wales Rugby League is looking for expressions of interest for a new Media Manager and Administrator.

 

As well as dealing with and organising all media in relation to the Wales Rugby League senior side in the build-up to the World Cup, the post-holder will also manage the media for all other national sides including under 18, under 16, students, wheelchair and any other potential representative sides.

 

They will also be expected to manage a team of volunteers to report on the flagship Rugby League Conference at all levels throughout Wales, upkeep the official WRL website and manage and monitor all aspects of social media including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter.

 

The post-holder should also be an experienced writer, graphic designer and sub-editor and be efficient in programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as being able to provide technical support in the WRL office.
