Senior members of the Cardiff Demons, including Coach Idris Evans and former chairman Ian Golden met up on Sunday to discuss the progress of the club.

Despite a difficult start to the season, Wales' oldest Rugby League club remain optimistic for the remainder of the campaign, with new players becoming available and former players re-entering the fold.

It is hoped that former Demons who are no longer able to play can be encouraged to have involvement in coaching and training.

The group also propose to run a "Reunion Day", most likely coinciding with a home Conference fixture at St Albans RFC in July in which all former Demons players and supporters will be invited to attend and celebrate the club's 14 years in Rugby League with a barbecue after the game.
