With over 150 Schools in Wales now playing Rugby League and the increased numbers of Senior and Junior teams that will be playing this forthcoming season more Match Officials are required.

Wales Rugby League have organised a Match Officials Foundation Course on Sunday 10th April starting at 10am and ending around 4pm at Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, CF11 9SW.

Match Officials Development Officer for Wales, Alan Smith said: "This course is the first step on the Match Officials pathway which can lead all the way from junior games to Super League, international games or whatever level your goal is. My job along with local Society Development Officers, Ian Curzon and Steve Hogan, is to help you attain and be the best Match Official at that level."
