Crusaders will kick-off their 2011 Engage Super League campaign against Salford City Reds at the Magic Weekend in Cardiff.
The Wrexham side will kick-off the second day of action on Sunday February 13th at Millennium Stadium, taking on their fierce rivals.
The Magic Weekend returns to Cardiff following for the first time since 2008, after two seasons at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium. The competition's return to Wales means Crusaders can expect a huge following, being the competition's only Welsh side. The game will see dual-code international Gareth Thomas return to the Millennium Stadium since his switch to Rugby League.
Crusaders played Salford twice during the 2010 season, beating them twice. They secured their first win of the campaign at the Willows back in February, beating the hosts 36-16 and recorded a their record 60-16 victory at the return fixture at the Racecourse Ground.
The Magic Weekend will see the 2011 Engage Super League season kick-off in style at the Welsh capital, with every team playing over the weekend of February 12-13. On Saturday Huddersfield Giants will take on Warrington Wolves, Catalans face Harlequins, Castleford take on Wakefield, and Wigan face arch rivals St Helens in a repeat of this season's Grand Final.
Crusaders kick off Sunday's festivities, followed by Bradford v Leeds. The weekend will be rounded off with the red hot Humberside derby between Hull KR and Hull FC.
RFL Chief Executive Nigel Wood commented: "This opening round of fixtures represents an outstanding way of kicking off the 2011 season in style. The overwhelming majority of fans told us that they wanted to see local rivalry matches and I'm sure thousands of loyal Rugby League supporters will be excited by the prospect of watching seven superb encounters in Cardiff at the start of next season.
"All of the clubs will have the chance to lay down a marker for the season ahead, particularly St Helens who will be desperate to put one over Wigan after their defeat to the Warriors at Old Trafford in October, but there will also be a lot of local pride at stake with a number of the other clashes.
