Around the Leagues: June 20-23

We take a look at how senior Wales internationals got on with their club sides in the latest round of rugby league fixtures across the world.

In Super League, Wales captain Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Matty Fozard all featured for London Broncos in their 26-24 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers. 

Gil Dudson started for Salford Red Devils in their 26-16 win over Castleford Tigers.

Regan Grace was on the wing for St Helens in their 36-10 success over Leeds Rhinos.

Former Wales skipper Craig Kopczak, who has now retired from international rugby league, was an interchange for Wakefield Trinity in their 30-6 defeat at Warrington Wolves. 

In the Championship, meanwhile, Chester Butler played in the second row for Halifax in their 24-20 loss at Bradford Bulls.

Jake Emmitt was on the bench for Leigh Centurions in their 40-0 victory at Dewsbury Rams.

Ben Evans started for Toulouse Olympique in their 28-16 defeat at Toronto Wolfpack.

Mike Butt, Rhodri Lloyd and Gavin Bennion all featured for Swinton Lions in their 26-12 loss to York City Knights.

In League 1, Calvin Wellington and Sam Hopkins both had run-outs for Workington Town as they lost 26-16 at home to Oldham.

Morgan Evans and Chris Vitalini both starred for West Wales Raiders in their 72-10 defeat to Hunslet. Liam Rice-Wilson, who was part of John Kear's squad for last autumn's European Championship and 2021 World Cup qualifiers, also featured for the Raiders.

Rob Massam bagged two tries for North Wales Crusaders in their 24-22 win at top-of-the-table Whitehaven.

In the southern hemisphere, Tyson Frizell, who has now switched allegiance to play for his home country Australia, scored a try for New South Wales in their 38-6 State of Origin victory over Queensland.
