Around the Leagues: June 1-2

In our latest Around the Leagues report, we take a look at how senior Wales internationals have been getting on with their clubs throughout the rugby league divisions.

Dalton Grant started on the wing for John Kear’s Bradford Bulls as they lost 20-16 to Halifax in the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup. Chester Butler and Dan Fleming featured for Fax.

Regan Grace and Morgan Knowles both crossed for tries in St Helens’ 48-10 victory over Wakefield Trinity, who named former Wales captain Craig Kopczak in their side.

In the 1895 Cup, meanwhile, Ben Morris was at centre for Rochdale Hornets in their 38-18 defeat at Batley Bulldogs.

Jake Emmitt was an interchange for Leigh Centurions in their 62-12 success over League 1 outfit Workington Town, who started Sam Hopkins at prop. 

Rhodri Lloyd scored a try for Swinton Lions in their 44-26 defeat at Dewsbury Rams. 

Over in Australia, Josh Ralph grabbed a try for Easts Tigers in their 40-22 Queensland Cup win over Northern Pride. 

Lloyd White was in the halves for Mackay Cutters' 34-20 defeat to Ipswich Jets in the same competition. 

In the NRL, former international Tyson Frizell, who has since gone on to represent home nation Australia, was in the second row for St George Illwarra Dragons in their 22-9 loss to Cronulla Sharks.
