Around the Leagues: February 15-17

We take a look at how Wales internationals got on with their clubs last weekend in the latest Around the Leagues report.

In Super League, Wales captain Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Matty Fozard all featured for London Broncos in their 22-12 defeat at Hull Kingston Rovers.

Gil Dudson started for Salford Red Devils in their 46-14 loss to Leeds Rhinos.

Ben Flower was in Wigan Warriors' side as they were beaten 20-8 by Sydney Roosters in the World Club Challenge. 

In the Championship, Dan Fleming and Curtis Davies were both interchanges for Halifax in their 20-18 victory over Batley Bulldogs.

Mike Butt, Rhodri Lloyd and Gavin Bennion all turned out for Swinton Lions in their 38-24 defeat at Dewsbury Rams. Butt and Lloyd also bagged tries.

Matt James starred in Sheffield Eagles' 24-10 success over John Kear's Bradford Bulls, who started Rhys Evans at centre.

Ben Evans came off the bench for Toulouse Olympique XIII in their 42-12 home win over Rochdale Hornets, with Elliott Jenkins having a run-out for the visitors.

Dai Evans, Ash Bateman and Chris Vitalini all featured for West Wales Raiders in a 28-4 defeat to Coventry Bears in their League 1 opener. 

Cobi Green, who has led Wales U19s in the past, started in the halves for Bradford Bulls in a 36-18 pre-season defeat at Hunslet. Marcus Webb, another who has been capped below first-team level, starred for Hunslet.
