Around the Leagues: September 6-9

National team media manager Ryan Gould takes a look at how Wales internationals got on with their clubs in the latest round of rugby league fixtures...

In Super League on Thursday night, Ben Flower started at prop for Wigan Warriors in their 25-10 victory over Wakefield Trinity.

Morgan Knowles and Regan Grace both featured for St Helens in their 26-22 win at Catalans Dragons. Knowles grabbed the match-winner for Saints with just two minutes left.

Craig Kopczak, who recently retired from international duty, was in action for Salford Red Devils in their 28-16 success over Toronto Wolfpack, who named Jake Emmitt on the interchange bench.

Chester Butler and Dan Fleming, scoring a try, both had run-outs for Halifax in their 38-24 defeat at Hull Kingston Rovers. Welsh speakers Sion Jones and Connor Davies, who have both been capped below senior level, also played for Halifax.

Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Ben Evans were all in London Broncos' side for their 34-8 win over Toulouse Olympique XIII.

Lloyd White started at hooker for Widnes Vikings in their 16-6 defeat to Leeds Rhinos.

In the Championship, Andy Bracek was in the forwards for Swinton Lions in their 54-10 loss at Leigh Centurions, who named Rhys Evans at centre.

Matty Fozard and Matt James both started for Sheffield Eagles in their 32-12 deficit against Featherstone Rovers.

In League 1, Dalton Grant scored two tries for Bradford Bulls in their 104-0 victory at West Wales Raiders, who started Morgan Evans at prop. The rest of the Raiders' side was made up of Welshmen. 

Paul Emanuelli, James Geurtjens and Ashley Bateman were all in action for Coventry Bears in their 36-12 loss to North Wales Crusaders. Liam Rice-Wilson, who has been capped for Wales below first-team level, also featured for the Bears.

Ben Morris was in the second row for Workington Town in their 50-22 defeat at Newcastle Thunder.

Over in Australia, Josh Ralph featured in the halves for Easts Tigers in their 50-20 success over Ipswich Jets in the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland) Finals Week 2.
