World Cup qualification up for grabs this autumn as Wales face France, Ireland and Scotland in European Championship
Wales' fixtures for the 2018 European Championship have been revealed as they aim to qualify for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
John Kear's men will open their European Championship defence, having won the tournament back in 2015, with a trip to France.
Wales will then travel to Scotland in the secound round, before hosting Ireland in their final fixture.
The top two teams in this year's tournament will automatically qualify for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, which will be hosted in England.
The nations finishing third and fourth will face Italy, the two top teams from Euro B (featuring Russia, Serbia and Spain) and winners of Euro C (comprising six nations) in a competition in October/November 2019, comprising of two pools.
The structure of the European Championship will be as follows:
France v Wales
Ireland v Scotland
Scotland v Wales
Ireland v France
Wales v Ireland
France v Scotland
Finalised dates, times and venues for all three European Championship fixtures will be announced in due course.
