There’s a fantastic triple header of matches for fans to enjoy in a #BigDayOut at Caerphilly RFC next Sunday 21st August.

South Wales Scorpions and Wales Rugby League are teaming up for over six hours’ worth of entertainment which starts at noon when a South Wales Scorpions Development side take on an Ireland Select, with the visitors selected from Irish Conference clubs.

It’s another game in what has been a very successful first season of development for the second string in South Wales which has seen them take on sides from Super League, Championship, League 1, Armed Forces and community.

South Wales Scorpions’ first team kick off at 3pm as they entertain Oxford, hoping to do the double over their M4 rivals following their convincing win at Iffley Road earlier this season.

The Scorpions are looking for two wins in a row after beating Coventry Bears 18-16 last time out.

Finally, the #BigDayOut concludes with the Welsh Grand Final at 4.45pm when Aber Valley Wolves and Bridgend Blue Bulls meet in the big occasion for the third year in a row.

Bridgend edged Aber Valley in both the last two finals but with the Wolves topping the regular season table, could the tide turn in 2016?

Tickets for this exciting #BigDayOut are available from www.scorpionsrl.com priced at £8 adults, £5 concessions and £1 juniors.
