Crusaders looking for new investors

The Board of North Wales Crusaders RFLC are inviting formal expressions of interest from parties with a genuine wish to invest significant funds in the club, and enable it to continue on its successful path in the 2016 League 1 competition

The Board of North Wales Crusaders RFLC are inviting formal expressions of interest from parties with a genuine wish to invest significant funds in the club, and enable it to continue on its successful path in the 2016 League 1 competition and beyond, following the stepping down of its former CEO and majority shareholder, Jamie Thomas.

The Board are willing and able to make available a meaningful shareholding, which could, in the right circumstances, be a majority or controlling interest.

North Wales Crusaders are the only professional rugby league club in North Wales, having been established in 2011, following the demise of the former “Crusaders” Super League club. In the last 4 seasons, the club has won the Championship One Bowl, the iPro Cup, and the Championship One League Leaders shield. With attendances surpassing four figures and a playing staff and squad poised to make a real impact in League 1 this season, the Board feel that all the ingredients are in place for a successful return to the Championship in early course and, at the right time, to Super League.

It should be noted the Rugby Football League, who govern the competition in which the club play, must approve any change in ownership of a club.

Further information is available from the club, upon written request to "Hanna.Clarke@crusadersrfl.com" headed "INVESTMENT". Requests should be accompanied by full contact details, including full name, address, landline and mobile telephone numbers.
