Wales Rugby League to rebrand in 2016

Wales Rugby League is to rebrand itself in 2016 and over the next couple of months will be seeking feedback from all stakeholders as to which options should be explored.

Wales Rugby League is to rebrand itself in 2016 and over the next couple of months will be seeking feedback from all stakeholders as to which options should be explored.

The new brand will be launched in Autumn just before Wales play crucial 2017 Rugby League World Cup qualifier games against Serbia and Italy.

This rebrand will help launch WRL, the sport's governing body into an exciting new era.

A short presentation, available to download below, has been produced by WRL to explore themes, generate discussion and provide the draft directives to take to the designers and specialists during the latter stages of the rebranding.

The presentation covers examples of Welsh symbolism, National Governing Body logos, Welsh logo's, the dragon, Rugby League and examples of other sporting rebrands.

WRL invite comments and feedback into its rebranding and these should be sent to chris.thair@walesrugbyleague.co.uk or ian.golden@walesrugbyleague.co.uk before March 20th 2016
