Wales under 16 training on June 21

The next Wales under 16 training session will take place on Sunday 21st June at the Academy of Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach at 11am. This will take place immediately before South Wales Scorpions face Coventry Bears in Mountain Ash.

If everyone could bring lunch, and kit for a game i.e. boots socks shorts gum shields etc.

 

This will take place immediately before South Wales Scorpions take on Coventry Bears in Kingstone Press League 1 just a 15 minute drive away in Mountain Ash RFC (kick-off 3pm) and all players will receive a ticket for the game.

 

Wales under 16 team manager Peter Tiffin said: "At the minute we have 50 plus players participating in training, each session we shall putting the players through some tough drills and seeing who can handle it at International level.

 

"The numbers shall be reduced after each session as all the staff will be taking everything that they all do in to consideration as it is going to be a tough game on Saturday August 22nd v England Under 16s at Taffs Well and we want to take the best players in Wales at under 16 level to represent their country.
