Wales Students trial this Sunday at Taffs Well

WALES Rugby League will be holding an open trial for the Wales Students squad on February 8th at Taffs Well RFC, Cardiff.

WALES Rugby League will be holding an open trial for the Wales Students squad on February 8th at Taffs Well RFC, Cardiff.

The trial starts at 12.30pm and players selected will form the squad which will play in the 2015  Student 4 Nations Championship in June.

WRL Development Manager: "This is a fantastic opportunity for Student players to play for their country in Test matches against England, Ireland and Wales. Wales Students have been very successful over the last 10 years and are currently ranked 3rd in the World and the 4 Nations Runners Up."

"Many of our former student players have also been snapped-up by some of the biggest Rugby League clubs in the country and are now making substantially good careers for themselves as a result. Do you fancy the challenge too? Then register and see what you can do."

To register for the trials, please download a form by clicking here and return it to mark.jones@walesrugbyleague.co.uk by Friday February 6th 2015.

All of last year's Wales Student squad who are still eligible still need to turn up to this trial.

To be eligible, a player must be studying in Sixth Form, College or University, and either be born in Wales, have Welsh parents/grandparents, study in Wales or have residency.
