Wales Rugby League staged a successful junior festival on Saturday in Colwyn Bay.

Flintshire Falcons u12 took a tough task playing a combined Prestatyn and Rhyl Panthers and Dee Valley Dragons side.

 

Both sides showed a high level of skill in attack and defence which made the first game of two game mini series a close fair see Falcons scrape a 7-6 win (based on tries scored).

 

The second game saw Falcons forwards take control allowing the backs to run seven trys. Panthers' never die attitude saw the final score 7-3 to the Falcons. Man of the Match was Morgan Bagshaw the Falcons stand off.

 

At under 10s Wrexham Bradley Raiders and Falcons took on a combined Panthers and Dee Valley side. This led to two close fought games with Panthers/Dragons scraping the first game. In second game Raiders/Falcons halves took the opposition defence with final score a well deserved draw 4 tries apiece.
