Falcons U12's 30 Wrexham Raiders U12's 36.

This was a game of two halves with Raiders starting the brighter catching the Falcons defence off guard several times. Raiders with some clinical rugby league led 24-14 at the break. The second half saw the Falcons find their feet and some great forward work saw two tries from the ruck as prop leaun Evans burrow his way over. The young Falcons confidence grew and with two tries in quick succession the game could have gone either way. The game was finally won by the Raiders with a break way try to seal the victory 30-36.

Falcons U18's 46 Culcheth Eagles U18's 20

The U18s returned to winning ways with a fantastic performance at home. The game saw the visitors take a early lead but they were second best from there on in. The Falcons half backs ran the show with Aled Davies, Jack Goss and hooker Rob Dessington pulling the strings. The forwards put in a good shift making yards at will with prop James Seasbourne having a great game. Falcons full back Connor Kendrick caused havoc hitting the line and opened up the Culcheth defence on several occsions. H/T (24 -10).

The second half saw the Falcons switch off and Culcheth clawed their way back in to the game, this was compounded when Falcons second row Dylan Rowley saw yellow. The hard working Falcons defence held firm and allowing them to increased their lead while still down to 12 men. Once back up to full numbers the Falcons took full control and ran in a series of trys to seal the victory with birthday boy Callum Price finishing of the game with a brilliant solo effort. Overall a great team performance. with the lads holding on to third place in the league.

They badly lacked league game time and tried to use union moves and tactics, many of whom were experiencing league for the first time so it was a great effort."
