Wales Rugby League run performance centres in both North and South Wales to help develop the skills of youngsters who want to progress in the sport of Rugby League.

The performance centres are linked to Wales' two semi-professional clubs.

Junior sides in the north are run under the North Wales Crusaders banner. They participate in leagues in the North West of England. These are run by Allen Jones who works full time for Wales Rugby League.

The South Wales Academy under 16 side is run and funded by Wales Rugby League and is a direct pathway into the South Wales Scorpions under 20 side which is run and funded by the Scorpions.

Fixtures and results can be found on the respective club websites from Crusaders and Scorpions.

In addition, we have a Category 3 acadamy at Coleg y Cymoedd which offers students a pathway to professional Rugby League in an education setting. This is one of 13 RFL accredited Cateogry 3 status colleges in the UK. A college who has this status has a formal partnerships with a Professional Rugby League Club, ours being South Wales Scorpions, and is committed to providing a high performance player deverlopment enviornment that meets the RFL standard whils allowing students to continue thier further education study.
