THE BIG TESTS ARE UPON US

THE BIG TESTS ARE UPON US

15th October 2012, 17:04

HI rugby league fans, and welcome!

The Autumn Tri-Nations Internationals are upon us giving Wales, England and France an opportunity to fully prepare for next year's World Cup, which is only the eighth ever major World Cup sporting event to be held in the UK.

We have a strong contingent from our Championship One teams, South Wales Scorpions and North Wales Crusaders, in the provisional training squad for Wales. Scorpions are represented by Steve Parry, David James, Joe Burke, Alex Jones, Osian Phillips and Courtney Davies, while Christiaan Roets, Rob Massam and Owain Brown have been selected from Crusaders.

Wales' quest kicks off against France on Saturday (October 20) in Lens, where they will be keen to better their last result of 16-28 in Wrexham on June 16.

The following week, Wrexham will be thrown into a frenzy as Wales take on England at Glyndwr University Racecourse at 2.30pm. Wales v England in any sport is always guaranteed to be a big crowd puller, so come along and be part of the big one!

Tickets and hospitality packages are still available, so grab them here or email sportsbookings@glyndwr.ac.uk or telephone 01978 294404.
