SEARCH FOR A STAR GOES NORTH
24th September 2012, 16:25
THE HUNT for the next big thing in rugby league around the Principality goes north this weekend.
The Search For A Star takes its focus to North Wales with the next Regional Performance Development Centre Open Day taking place at the Wales Rugby League Performance Centre at Deeside Leisure Centre on Saturday September 29 between 12noon and 3pm.
The governing body is throwing open the doors to all Under-14 (year nine) players to come along and access coaching from Wales staff to give them an introduction to the sport.
The regional performance development centre programme is designed to give talented players the opportunity to access professional coaching in Rugby League and give them a step up on the player pathway in Wales. Sessions will run weekly and culminate in a game against other regions within Wales in a mini origin series.
All interested players need to register with Matt Pritchard on matt.pritchard@walesrugbyleague.co.uk
