Wales will be defending their Alitalia European Cup crown and will take on Scotland, Ireland and France, with the winners going through to the Four Nations tournament to face England, Australia and New Zealand in 2011.
The first Wales game, a glamour friendly against Italy, is at The Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, home of Super League's Crusaders RL on Wednesday 6th October (kick-off 7.30pm).
This will be the game that Gareth Thomas makes his first ever appearance in a Wales Rugby League shirt. He has recently had an operation for a Sports Hernia and has been declared fit to play for his country again.
And in a unique twist, he and the rest of the Welsh players, will be facing Crusaders' own Rocky Trimarchi who will be turning out for the Italians.
Then on Sunday 17th October, the Welsh side return to Neath in South Wales for their crucial home Alitalia European Cup game against Ireland.
The two sides met in Pontypridd last year with Wales recording an outstanding 42-12 win.
The encounter will finally see Gareth Thomas' long-awaited return to South Wales after being injured for Crusaders' two games at The Gnoll this year.
